Review: This site is the very last one i built without knowledge of web standards, totally tableness and the way a site hasn’t to be made. However, it’s included here to remember me the importance of web standards and the flash intros are old fashioned. Is an static, informative site with some flash animations.

Project: website Superama

Client: Wal-Mart de México

Modality: supplier (emLink)

Technology: xhtml/css, Ajax ASP.NET, ASP.NET, Microsoft Commerce Server

Review: In this project, the teammates were a lot of people. The previous site purchase flow was traced from the beggining and there were proposed improvements to navigation and purchase experience, from the graphic design to the search, register, checkout and another flows

This client was particularly very complicated, due to the user had a wide range of e-commerce sites as a reference, was so hard to delimit all of them into he actually needed

Additionally, the structure of the application was planned in separate layers (development and design) in order to give work freedom to developers and designers involved in the project.

The requests to the product catalog are made with Commerce Server.

Project: Intranet/website Marzam

Client: Marzam

Modality: supplier (emLink)

Technology: xhtml/css, jquery (javascript), Community Server

Review: The design for this client was made in an integral way, as a part of its image renewal plan, this project had an easier degree of difficulty, because, most of the concepts to transmit were already settled in a market research. The previous site was static, had an unintuitive navigation and very low design standards.

The rethinking was based in concepts like renewal and freshness, in order to give the site more dynamism and color saturation suitable to their corporative standards. All this togheter with an internal communication campaign, used to try the employees feel identified with the company in a stronger way.

Currently the content is constantly mantained to update the content and then, optimize the search results.

Project: Packaging Aspel products

Modality: in-house

Technology: Adobe Illustrator/Adobe Photoshop.

Review: Along with the corporative identity redesign this company went through during 2004/2005 the new design of packaging for their products were applied gradually, according the claim and stock permitted. Accord a work schedule, approximately every 4 months a new product had to be delivered, with this basis the artwork was generated, the information obtained from different areas as technical support, QA and TI, was filled.

The mkt team, togheter with other areas, made drafted the final contents, the copyediting. The mockup was made by me and additional material included in the same boxes like: manuals, cd booklets and other related supports as brochures and training guides.
